Hey Guys, this is the first part of a series of Celio India Paris Street Style and we’re super excited to bring it to you.
When you’re in the world’s style capital, you’re personal style is under the scanner on every street corner. It is not without reason that Paris street style is considered as a standard to look up to.
That said, what we’re looking at in this episode is on how you can create a statement look entirely out of basics. Pull out some of your daily essentials, put them together with taste and elegance, and you’re sure to elicit some excited “ooh la las”, whether you’re on the streets of Paris, Delhi or Mumbai. Read on….
“The simplest of elements often win the race” Remember: it’s not about keeping up with the trends or bagging all the ‘must haves’ It’s about how you style it and keep your elements in place. Over the years, I’ve always admired the power of simplicity in fashion and it is the key elements of styling.

I was in Paris recently. I pulled out some pieces from Celio India’s current collection to create my look. Strolling around the Pont Alexandre, a monumental bridge over the River Seine, with the imposing Eiffel Tower as a background, I created this simple, fuss-free look.

I pulled out the following basics from Celio India and put them together:
1. A white shirt
2.Stretch denims (no rips please)
3. A beige cotton blazer for the day
4. A knit tie
5. White sneakers
6. Everyday sunnies
7. A cool watch.

This look is essentially a day look. From a colour standpoint, I’ve worn a beige blazer to as the key piece of my look, and to dress it up a bit. Underneath, I’m wearing a classic white shirt clubbed with a pair of slim stretch jeans. In terms of accessories, I’ve added a knitted tie, a sleek watch and some Ray-Ban Clubmasters.

As for the footwear, I think the white sneakers add a nice, sporty touch. As trendy as white sneakers have been in the past year or so, I have somehow not warmed up to the trend until very recently. I procured these Celio India kicks and realised that it can really lift up the look. Too long I’ve been accustomed to traditional leather shoes, and now, I am in love with my sneakers.

So there you go! The first part of my Paris street style series with Celio India.
In case you’re wondering about where these beautiful pictures were shot – it’s the Pont Alexandre, just off the Avenue des Champs Elysees. It is a great neighbourhood and offers multiple photo ops with the Eiffel Tower in the background.
Enjoy the festivities…
